Sally's Insights - Here’s how we’ll hook you up
on a string.
The creative industry is roaring back into action. Many new jobs are crossing my desk and a healthy percentage of them are for freelancers. I’m excited for everyone looking for work right now, full-time and freelance but remember, it doesn’t matter how much work is out there if you don’t know where to look for it. This would be a great time to connect with me.
If you are an experienced freelancer or find yourself freelancing for the first time, you certainly must phone me or send me your CV and folio. I will call you to chat about how we can work together. Here are two options.
1. Sign on to the Creative Directory.
For $250 a year (that’s one cup of coffee a week) you’ll buy into a big creative network and creative community, which can feel a bit special in these isolated times. One of the biggest perks (she says, modestly) is me. When you’re on the Creative Directory I promote you endlessly. You and your work are highlighted in my well-read newsletter, my social media posts, and in the many conversations, I have with those in the creative industry.
2. Get your name on the TBE books.
If the Creative Directory isn’t for you right now, you can still get in touch and send me your CV and folio. I won’t be actively be promoting you, like those listed on the Creative Directory, but you will still be in line for potential work.
Everyone who works with me benefits from my valuable connections and joining forces with The Brownbill Effect will give you a head start in the current, competitive but jumping job market.
