In Conversation with Tony Lazzaro
Who is Tony Lazzaro?
Originally from Adelaide I moved over to Melbourne with an original band after some record company interest. We wrote, recorded and toured and after years of playing live I turned my skills as a manager/producer /write to owning and running a studio, so with two of my fellow band mates Adrian and Lazz we took the plunge and started Big Ears Audio in 2000 I have various roles ,producer and composer I also look after client services and new business and marketing. I love what I do. I get to work with amazing people.
Who (or what) inspires you?
What inspires me are people that take risks and back themselves & that aren’t afraid of failure.
How did you get your first break?
Our first break came after when we were asked to create the audio time line for the “Nissan Pulsar” by global company Jack Morton World Wide. It was a music sound scape that moved the the different years of the Pulsars life. We created music for the visual that was played at the launch.
Tell us what you are currently working on?
Currently we are working on a couple of musical compositions. One is a complete audio branding and the other is radio jingle as well as lots of voice overs and sound mixes.
