Andrew Wurster

I’ve had a diverse range of experiences. I’ve always been creative, and in my mid-twenties, I took a trip to Europe where I shot around 50 rolls of film and began printing. The first print I put up on a bar wall sold, and I’ve been taking photos nearly every day since. Initially, I focused on landscapes, but six or seven years ago, I found a set of lights on Marketplace, bought them, and started photographing people. Over the years, I’ve taken many portraits, including one of a government minister and various musicians, as well as working at events. I’m skilled with my camera, and my extensive background in hospitality allows me to interact really well with people.
