I love people and I love their stories. Did you hear the one about the bloke who lived in St Mary’s Tasmania and the time he caught a Tasmanian Tiger in his rabbit trap? It was 1958, 22 years after the last tiger supposedly died in captivity at the Hobart Zoo.

When the word got out that he had caught a tiger, he got a swift visit from the Flora and Fauna Board and the Police, where they confiscated the skin and threatened to put him in jail for rabbiting on private land. Which just happened to be a new plantation of timber.
