Thomas is a photographer and assistant based in Melbourne. He studied fine arts Photography at RMIT, and started his career undertaking artist residencies in Indonesia, Thailand and China and has exhibited his photography work across Australia and abroad. For the last five years Thomas has worked as an inhouse studio photographer in the Museums and Cultural Heritage Industry with institutions such as State Library Victoria and Arts Centre Melbourne.

Thomas is now looking to further develop his professional career by gaining experience (both technically and in business) in more commercial environments assisting established photographers.

Thomas is enthusiastic, friendly and professional, with clear communication skills, and an ability to learn quickly. He enjoys problem solving and has a good understanding and experience with studio and on location lighting equipment, tethered shooting workflows and data wrangling using Lightroom and Capture One softwares. Thomas has a vehicle available for transporting equipment and is happy to drive throughout Victoria to be on set.
