I am Mads (Madeline) Russell. I am a Naarm/Melbourne based artist, photographer, stylist and assistant.
I have studied at both RMIT University and LCI College, and have graduated with a Bachelor’s in Photography and Fine Arts. I also hold a diploma in Fashion Styling.
I am open to jobs in both photography and fashion assisting.
My personal photographic works explore relationships with gender representation, fashion and nature.

In process of getting a license
I am an accredited VAMFF photographer and have been shooting backstage for over 4 years.
I most recently shot a campaign for LCI’s 2021 Design week with stylist Virginia Dowzer and artists Michael Peck.
I have experience assisting in photography for J Forsyth for the Centre for Contemporary Photography and for Justin Ridler at both RMIT and LCI University.
I am also a volunteer at the Centre for Contemporary Photography.
I have lots of experience with styling assisting. I am an assistant of Toni Newman of TONI & Co. I have several years of experience assisting dressing for VAMFF and for MBFW under stylist Kelvin Harries.
I have assisted also assisted Bianca Christoff, and Franco Schifilliti.
